In this account record from 1795, Rev. Jean Tessier, a French Sulpician priest residing at Bohemia Plantation, in Cecil County registered a series of payments he gave to six enslaved persons: David, Barney, Stephen, Dick, Betty, and Suky. The payments they received were for services, transactions of goods, and rewards.
