This account entry from November 1832 records payment of $90 from a Mr. Lloyd for Archey. The money was to be refunded if Lloyd could not find Archey, suggesting that Archey might have run away after being sold to Lloyd. In other books, Archey (or Archy), described as a "black boy," received small sums from August 1826 to January 1832.
