In August 1830, George Fenwick SJ sold Harriet for $210 to Mr. John G. Johnston. Rev. Fenwick inherited Harriet from his father in 1811. At the time of the sale Harriet would have been around 27 years old.

Received [240 - crossed out] 210 dols for sale of Harriet to Mr John G. Johnston.

Paid Mr. Mullen half a doll. & 3 five peny bets for book binding.

Received rents of Sam Edelin for the months of October, Novr, December 1830 & for Jan. Febr. March April, and May 1831.
